Neva 1 (Afternoon): Group Ski Lessons for Children
In the afternoon, the child builds on their initial experience of controlled gliding. Snowploughing, skidding, and parallel turns – each session boosts their confidence on the green run.
Is your child just starting out on skis or looking to build on their basic skills? This course is perfect for them. It runs for half a day, in the afternoon to suit your holiday schedule, and your child will join their instructor and five other children. No more than that. With just six children, we have plenty of time to give each one individual attention, offer reassurance and encouragement, and build a real sense of team spirit over the course of the week.On the programme: snowploughing to control speed, first turns on the piste, and the highlight of the NEVA 1 level: the first parallel ski crossing. All on the resort’s green runs, at a gentle pace and without pressure.

Ages 5 and over
Our NEVA 1 group classes are open to children aged 5 and over, in small groups of no more than 6.
Green runs
First steps on the snow, learning to balance and glide.
Typical session programme
2.00 pm
Welcome at the meeting point on the snow front. Introduction of the instructor and quick level assessment.
2.15 pm
Warm-up and initial exercises on an adapted track.
2.30 pm
Targeted technical work: posture, balance, movement patterns.
3.30 pm
Practical training on a variety of slopes suited to your skill level.
5:00 pm
End of the session, feedback from the instructor and presentation of medals at the end of the week.
