Description
The Shadow offers an ultra-wide field of vision for medium and narrow faces, in a frameless design with a spherical lens that ensures a perfect fit under the helmet. Julbo designed it for big-mountain skiing, in powder as well as on groomed pistes. It weighs just 110 grams. Its Reactiv photochromic lens adapts to the light on its own; at the shop, you can choose between category 1 to 3 High Contrast, category 0 to 4 High Contrast for extreme changes in light, and a polarised Glare Control version that reduces glare on hard snow. Air Flow ventilation, anti-fog treatment, dual-density foam and a silicone strap with double adjustment ensure comfort. Try them on with your helmet and collect them at the shop.
Neva’s advice
If you mostly ski in the morning on hard, sunny snow, the polarised Glare Control version reduces the dazzle on groomed pistes.
