Description
Originally designed for ski guides in western Canada, the Army Leather Heli Ski mitten is one of the warmest in the Hestra range, with the maximum warmth rating on the brand’s scale. It is aimed at skiers who get cold hands and those who spend long hours outdoors in the depths of winter. The goatskin palm resists wear, the polyamide back blocks the wind, and the removable lining dries easily overnight. The long cuff with snow lock goes over the jacket sleeve to keep powder out. A durable, reliable choice, to try on in the shop and collect there.
Choosing your size
Measure around your hand just below the knuckles, excluding the thumb, then refer to the Hestra size guide; for a ski glove, leave a little air space around the hand and, if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. The simplest option is still to try them on in the shop.
Neva’s advice
This is the mitten we recommend to skiers whose fingers are always cold: in extreme cold, add a thin silk or wool liner glove.
Collect at the Neva shop, 26 Place des Dolomites, Val d’Isère: your item will be waiting for you, prepared and adjusted, when you arrive.
