Carving is the art of the cut turn: balanced on your edges, the ski draws a clean arc without skidding. In three hours, you have time not just to understand the movement, but to repeat it until it sticks.
Your instructor builds the session in two stages: first focused technical work — inclination, angulation, edging, line through the turn — then putting it into practice on wide pistes where carving truly comes into its own. The duration makes the difference: repetition is what turns the sensation into instinct.
