What does the Improver kids ski lesson - Neva 1 Morning involve?
The natural next step after those first days on snow, every morning. In small groups of 6, your child builds balance, crosses the green slope on parallel skis, and heads back at noon, proud of the progress made. Every session is tailored: the instructor adjusts the exercises to how comfortable your child feels on the snow that day.
Why this course? Because moving from the snowplough to parallel skiing is a pivotal step: with the right guidance, it lays a solid foundation for everything that follows. Our instructors take the time needed, never forcing the pace.
Available levels
Ages 5 and over
Our NEVA 1 group classes are open to children aged 5 and over, in small groups of no more than 6.
Green runs
First steps on the snow, learning to balance and glide.
Typical session programme
9:00am
Meet at the designated point on the snow front. Introduction to the instructor and a quick level assessment
9:15am
Warm-up and initial exercises on an adapted track.
9.30am
Targeted technical work: posture, balance, movement patterns.
10:50am
Practical training on a variety of slopes suited to your skill level.
12:00pm
End of the session, feedback from the instructor and presentation of medals at the end of the week.
