2-hour private Carving Lesson in Val d’Isère

Carving is the art of the cut turn: balanced on your edges, the ski draws a clean arc without skidding. In two hours, your instructor spots what still makes you skid and helps you feel, turn after turn, the difference between being carried by the curve and steering it.

Your instructor builds the session in two stages: first focused technical work (inclination, angulation, edging), then putting it into practice on wide pistes where carving truly comes into its own. Two hours to feel the skis grip the snow and leave with the right cues.

Confident in parallel

You ski parallel on blue runs and you’re ready to move on to the cut turn.

Same-level group

Alone or in a small group, up to 10 people of the same level progressing together.

Welcome on the snow front and a chat about your goals. Gentle warm-up.

15 min - 45 min

Focused technical work: inclination, angulation and edging on easy runs.

45 min - 1h30

Line through the turn: building the movement and repeating it until it feels natural.

Putting it into practice on wide pistes where carving truly comes into its own.
